KARACHI: Home side Karachi Kings reached National Stadium on Thursday with their full-strength squad to train ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.
Under the leadership of Imad Wasim, Kings' squad did light training in the ground. Mohammad Amir, Mir Hamza, Aamir Yamin, and Mohammad Umar did bowling practice.
Imad spent most of the time in the nets while batting. Sharjeel Khan, who was looking much fitter than before, did knocking near the boundary line whereas also did batting in the nets.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi also did optional training session. Zalmi's head coach Darren Sammy supervised the training session which was attended by young batters Mohammad Haris, Saim Ayub, pacers Arshad Iqbal and Salman Irshad.
Zalmi's skipper Babar Azam did his training in the afternoon on Thursday. Sources told GeoSuper.tv that Babar has left for Rawalpindi to attend Shadab Khan's reception which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
